Death Scenes
Alexander - When Alexander kills Cleitus my heart feels it. It's so tragic and crude. You know Alexander regrets it the moment he realizes what he's done, but he can't go back...
Forrest Gump - When I was younger I hated the fact that Jenny died. But now I can see that her life had brought her back to Forrest, but her mistakes caught up to her anyway. It's still very beautiful and moving to see how truly devoted Forrest was to her. Scarface - Talk about going out with a bang! Tony was high out of his mind, trapped by his own excess. How many bullets did it take to take him down? I always find it hard to watch, but it was Tony, he wouldn't have gone any other way. Spider-Man - Uncle Ben is a by now a famous death. Lots of superheroes in fiction have their "Uncle Ben," but Peter Parker certainly doesn't care. Hehe. He'll be forever tormented by his actions that led to Ben's death, but it's also what kept him going for so long. Dead Man Walking - Ohhh, so eerie and heart breaking, but still confusing. He was a bad man, but does he deserve this type of death? The performances were chilling. I'll never be able to not think about this film and this scene and not get chills. Anyway, food for thought: Best Film Deaths Scenes Please, use spoiler tags for new films and films that have been out on DVD for less than 3 months. Use your judgement on films that don't fit the criteria discussed above. __________________
