I guess cause I picture him as the pretty boy in films, or the brooding type, not really the monster type, but man, seriously, Amazing dosen't even cut it. Little things really got me that the Joker did and as twisted as it seems, I found myself feeling almost sorry for him on certain parts, even though he was this evil, malicious, heartless, villain.. Spoiler:
I know that seems nutty, but still ![]() __________________

| That's great about the DVD news. I can't wait to get it!! And congrats on breaking records! Wow. I was wondering if it's worth seeing in IMAX too. I know I'll be seeing it again but was wondering if I should do IMAX the next time? Has anyone here seen the IMAX, and would you recommend it?? Thanks for the info about Christian. Media made a huge thing out of nothing really. He's human, like everyone else. Everyone looses their temper. __________________ Go Phillies!...2008 NL East Division Champions!! I couldn't do it the first time because all tickets were sold out, but I really want to know if it's a different experience as some people have told me. I'll let you know after I watch it. ![]() __________________ "I gave her coffee" Java Junkie for life ♥ Avi Literati/Luby/Bandit/Brandon&Kelly/Ned&Chuck/SP&LG | |||

Well, I guess it gives them extra time to add more goodies to the DVD then. ![]() __________________ Which video game town would you hate to end up in? | Absolute Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just saw this today at a preview, and I posted my thoughts in the "what was the last movie you saw?" thread, so I'll C&P what I said: "Why is everyone ragging on Bale's Batman's voice?! I LOVE it! To me, it's an important part of what makes him Batman - I mean like, the whole deep-voiced, intense, badass thing he has going on is what I personally imagine Batman to be like. Seriously, I love it. I saw The Dark Knight today, and I'm still freaking out at the sheer awesomeness. Absolutely amazing. Again, I loved the morbid, darker tone that we first saw in Batman Begins (though it was amplified for this film), and even though it's all based on a comic-book and essentially the hero is a man who dresses up as a bat to fight crime, I loved the realistic element of a city corrupt and in chaos, and the whole representation of order vs. anarchy. Heath, it goes without saying, was frucking PHENOMENAL as the Joker. He legitimately scared the crap out of me, and I can agree with Sir Michael Caine when he says that his performance surpasses Nicholson's in the original. He was psychotic, unnerving, morbidly amusing, and just plain awesome. And of course, Christian Bale was amazing!!! Did I mention how much I love his representation of Batman? Easily my favourite by far (sorry, George Clooney). I loved how despite the fact Bruce Wayne tried to seperate himself from his alter-ego, he accepted at the end that he can't let that side go, because the city needs him. But he's not a hero in the typical sense. Gah, brilliant!!! I also loved the juxtaposition of his "dark knight" to Eckhart's "white knight". Eckhart who was also amazing. I was actually a bit worried that the whole thing with Two Face and having two villains would overshadow the Joker, but it didn't, so that was a relief. And some of the dialogue in the movie was just brilliant. Gah, it was all great!!! I need to go see it again." __________________ all was golden in the sky, all was golden when the day met the night Vote Papa Winchester ♥ sadia

| Master Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, I thought the first one was boring but this one totally made up for it. About Christian Bale's voice - I thought it was a little gruff too. But he still did a good job but Heath did it even better, in my opinion. The part when he was totally out of make-up just blew me away. I was like, "Is that Heath?!" I still can't believe this guy is gone.__________________ Which video game town would you hate to end up in? Tell us at the Games Board! ![]() Rock the Vote & Be Heard! | I finally saw it yesterday!!! and man, it was amazing. i loved it!! and the joker was crazy as hell and i loved it. i need to see this movie again!! hopefully at the IMAX, my brother saw it too yesterday but at the IMAX but i saw it in theaters...and he said it was really good. its just such a shame that we wont see anymore of the great talent heath had. christian bale was amazing as usual!!! that batman voice was alrite at first..but then later on in the movie it was gettin annoying, i understand that he has to disguise his voice..but that much?? lol the two-face was awesome too, i was excited to see him but yeah i think he died too soon. lol and ryan as the riddler??? i cant even imagine that..although he was wicked in murder by the number...but as the riddler???? pretty interesting. lol and yes...peguin scares the freak out of me too!!! augh..i couldnt even watch that movie without shaking... btw, great icons up there!!! =) __________________ catherine Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles | |||

This was one movie I didn't know what to expect, so after I knew, I settled in and loved it.The Dark Knight is darker, sinister and the philosphical aspects were broader and personafied incredibly. What a movie. ![]() __________________ Maybe this time I'll speak the words of life, with Your fire in my eyes... But that old familiar fear is tearing at my words, what am I so afraid of?
