The whole point of the imagery was to show his 'good' vs 'evil' side and which would rise above.
 But not knowing I think is worse, when they want to show how 'ugly' is actions had become, it was a great reflection of that. |

I re-watched TDK two days ago and I think what Aaron Eckhart did with the role was extraordinary. To think that we only saw Harvey Dent in one of the movies and yet he felt as if he was there from the beginning. To watch his descent into despair and madness after the Joker arranges Rachel's death to spiral him into darkness is just heartbreaking
 Even though he threatens the life of Gordon's kid, I could honestly feel his pain throughout those scenes. Very well done, and it's easy to see why Bruce took responsibility for Harvey's "crimes." Those crimes were sparked by something completely out of Dent's control. __________________

His character ending was so sad, and the best way to describe him is what you said above, 'his descent into despair', so sad!

the opening bank-robbery scene in TDK is absolutely mesmerizing, the score, action, IMAX camera work, the whole scene is tremendous to this day!

The only thing that annoys me about TDK (other than the change in Rachel's actress) is the sound is SO loud that it makes me speakers crackle

Oh, don't get me wrong - I'm happy that he stayed true to his word as did Nolan and kept it as a trilogy
But I kinda miss the hype of getting excited for each of the new movies in Nolan's Batman series  I miss those spoiler pics__________________

I love Nolan's films the best, but I like the newer adaptations but I think people are too harsh on who's cast is all.
