True, but its all about making the money and Im sure this movie will do great at that. I just hope it turns out good.

Just having a Kevin Smith appreciation thread isn't enough.

People - have you seen the ads for this film? So.freakin'.funny. I can't wait to see it.

Anyone else looking forward to this? (and I thought we had a thread for this movie but I couldn't find it... *is confused*)

The only funny part of Clerks was Jay and Silent Bob. The other two losers that work in the stores and are "clerks" weren't that funny in Clerks. Those two people really haven't ever done anything besides Clerks, LOL. So I'm thinking that Clerks II won't be that funny. I do like the part in the trailer where Jason Lee goes into the fast food place and brags. Jason Lee is probably the only star of the Kevin Smith films that still has a career. Ben Affleck had the Gigli disaster and hasn't recovered. Matt Damon has had success with the Ocean movies and Bourne movies but that's about it. Jason Lee has one of the funniest shows on tv right now. Clerks II will probably bomb.

Dante & Randall not funny????? Oh my God... I laugh so hard at their banter, I practically cry.

Dante's "try not to **** any **** on your way to the parking lot!" was hilarious.

Maybe I'm just easier to please.

Plus, Rosario Dawson is in this one. She can do no wrong in my eyes.

Im excited to see the movie. I saw a special on vh1 and it looks like its gonna be really funny and not to mention dirtier than the last one it seems.

Wow, it's been getting stinko reviews, but then, so did Mall Rats and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

I watched Clerks again the other day just to prepare. STILL a great film (and I never realized how much Randall looks like an old boyfriend of mine).

I saw it last week & though it wasn't nearly as good as the original I still ejoyed it. The sappy part at the end was awkward.

I saw the movie the other day. I havent seen the first one, although I'm a Kevin Smith fan.
But I loved this movie. It was too funny.

I enjoyed this one. Parts were over the top...........but that was to be expected.
