^ I remember watching that as a child
I really like BBC productions. They usually split them in to 4 parts to cover a lot of ground. Their 2006 version of Jane Eyre with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens was excellent. __________________

Yeah I think that Narnia version was 4 parts or something.

...Why does this look more like Poltergeist than Narnia? __________________

also, don't stare directly at it for too long. The bright light is blinding!
Just started to watch a TV show called REIGN (based on Mary Stuart's life with King Francis) and Anna Popplewell is one of the supporting actresses __________________

I've not seen it, but it's nice that the actors from the films have newer projects!

It's pretty good Millie, but Season 1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Season 2.
It aired on the CW, so people liken it to "Gossip Girl meets The Tudors" Lots of contemporary songs and girl talk etc. Anna Popplewell's character is quite sexually liberated, miles away from Susan let's say __________________

These films/stories played it very safe
Interestingly enough, Philip Pullman said this in relation to Susan's sexuality/maturity forcing her out of Narnia by the closing events of The Last Battle - Quote:

I know what you mean Gwen but the film too was more about the relationships of the siblings over 'romantic' ones you know?

Yeah, for sure it was but I also understand Pullman's POV about Susan almost being punished in a way for maturing. Did seem as if she was banished from Narnia just for coming into her own as a person. Maybe I'm just bothered by how little she was in 'Voyage of the Dawn Treader'
