| Chris Rock to host Academy Awards link i dunno. i just cant picture Chris Rock hosting the oscars. the VMAs i can understand, but Academy Awards? What the frick?? Quote:

| Elite Fan   | I heard this earlier on MTV. I thought it was a joke, but it wasn't. That said, I can't wait! Come on, Billy Crystal rocked beyond anything but Chris Rock is a comedic genius! This is the big stage he deserves. I just hope he appreciates the situation and stays within friendly limits. | |||

| I don't know. Not to insult him, but here's a certain bit of prestige to the Academy Awards that I would not necessary associate Chris Rock to. Not that Billy Crystal or Steve Martin or some of the other comedians that have hosted aren't irreverant and silly. However, Chris Rock, hilarious as he can sometimes be, it usually pretty tasteless, and he probably wouldn't be my choice. But maybe he'll be great and I'm be wrong  | |||

| I rememer when Whoopi hosted. All I remember is she had a bunch of crazy outfits and is my parents hated it because her jokes were pretty nasty and trashy. | |||
