I loved Curse of Chucky and how it revitalized the franchise in a clever and creative way, bringing it back to its horror roots. This new trailer seems to continue that trend of creativity - a whole cult worshiping Chucky. lol It does feel kinda silly, but I'm looking forward to what interesting twists the movie could take with the concept.

Thanks for the thread but i'd recommend changing it to Child's Play Series. Unless we're specifically talking about the doll and only the doll, not the movies.

Edit: I wasn't saying that to be rude or sarcastic, just asking because i know some boards have character threads separate from movie threads.

Done and I agree with you, it's annoying how some people don't even know the original title of this series.

I liked the movie but Chucky was not great. They just should have kept the original.

1988 movie will always be the superior one

Best cast and most threatening Chucky, plus we got to see Brad Dourif and how the whole curse started. I liked the sequel but missed Chris Sarandon and Catherine Hicks

The remake was okay, but didn't need to be made. I like the original trilogy the best before it turned goofy with Bride and Seed of Chucky SMH. I think I like CP2 the best, I really liked the addition of Kyle and Chucky was more off the hook. Another reason I wish they didn't remake it is cause I was liking the last two they made where they became horror movies again. It was also great they got the original Andy actor back in both, and Kyle had a cameo in the last one as well.

I watched Cult of Chucky and wow was it awful. They had no idea what to do with Andy or Fiona Dourif's character.

The ending where she met up with Jennifer Tilly and Andy was trapped in the asylum - I HATE IT. These two great characters were completely taken for granted.

I liked it but the ending where Chucky put his soul into that girl and he got back with Tiffany was ridiculous. Tiffany's character didn't fit with these films cause this went back to horror and her character was part of the goofy phase of the Chucky movies.
