I love Devon Sawa on twitter
 he always makes nostalgic references to his movies.This is still that movie to me where I feel we were unjustly robbed of a beautiful romantic pairing  Young or not, Casper and Kat were meant to be.  I hated how the stupid ending made it reverse back into a childish comedy. That dance scene was so intimate and they should have ended it on that note. __________________

just re-watched this movie on here yesterday with Alex and Dave on the Heroes board and Devon’s voice with this quote still makes me die inside
  also did I ever mention that this movie actually was released the same month and same year I was born and that it was the number one movie at the box office in the country the week I was born just thought that was really cool to have such a great movie like that to share my birthday year, month, and almost week with |

It gives me the feels every time I watch Now and Then + they're on the bench together. Your mind inevitably clicks back to their Casper dance scene because their dialogue is so similar.
People have often asked if it was an intentional reference to Casper, but I think it was just a beautiful coincidence.  __________________

I do know that Devon in this movie was the first sexual awakening for some pre-teen girls when it was released back then from what I’ve read online and listened to in podcasts
