Her mom was insane. Stephen King writes the most evil characters that we love to hate!

I get upset with a lot of how her mom treats her and I cry at the part where she dies inside the house with her mom.

That are sad scenes.
I need to rewatch Carrie: The Rage. Does anyone know why she had ivy vines growing? |

She had them because the movie was terrible and when a movie is bad, you can get away with whatever you want. IE Blair Witch Project 2 Book of Shadow.

I watched Carrie recently and thought it was pretty good. The title reminds me of a commercial from the for moisturizing cream or something where they say Carrie is so different or whatever. I saw the newer one, but I've never seen the original one. Did Stephen King write any other books having to do with telekinesis that have been made into movies?

So, I just re-watched the 2013 version of CARRIE. It's not even close to the scares/suspense of the 1976 original All of the subtlety that shone through in Sissy Spacek's performance in the Prom scene when Carrie kills the students is gone in the 2013 one. Moretz uses her arms to act, not her eyes. The soundtrack in this scene is really distracting. Best compliment I can give the 2013 version is that Chloe Moretz, Julianne Moore and Ansel Elgort give really good performances and bring depth/sympathy to the characters. Huge NO to the unnecessary twist they add in the 2013 version where Sue Snell is pregnant and using it as an excuse for Carrie to save her? That was so forced. __________________
