I kinda love that Andy and Matt Reeves are reuniting after two films together for Planet of the Apes

Interesting that they decided on Serkis. I remember early on in the casting rumors, Ralph Fiennes' name was on the rumor list. It will be refreshing to watch him play an actual real (non-CGI) role again; I haven't seen that much from him since 1999 when he played Bill Sykes in Oliver Twist

He played Klaw in Black Panther, that's the only live action role I saw him play.

^ In terms of a "self-deprecation" narrative for Robert Pattinson, I'm still shocked that (even 10 years after Twilight) he decided to take on another big movie franchise that has tons of expectations and therefore personal baggage with it.

It's not that I can't picture him in the role. I just remember how much he hated the attention when he was filming Twilight. He's a shy guy who doesn't relish the spotlight.

I'm on his side, because I know how crazy and brutal fandoms and media can be when their expectations are not necessarily met. But anyway, I know he's doing a lot of prep for this, physically and with the source material of the comics, so good luck to him.

I'm just tired of remakes of every single franchise. One comic movie doesn't have to mean another one and another one and so on...

Why does Catwoman need a spin-off? She had a big role in The Dark Knight Rises, Halle Berry played her in a solo movie and Michelle Pfeiffer's role was critically acclaimed.

Why can't all these characters just stay in one movie? (Yes, I know - the studio sees $$$$$$$$$ and cares more for that than films of substance.)

Interesting title albeit a short one, but then again, working titles can easily change.

I remember the working title for Star Wars 9 was Black Diamond

The cast looks good, which is always a plus.

Although, I'm still kinda wishing that Ana De Armas had been cast as Catwoman... Perhaps that is just my bias speaking; I've been a fan of hers since El Internado 10 years ago (Spanish TV show)
