Hellboy Series #1
I'm going to see this movie tomorrow and i'm looking forward to it! ron Perlman looks like he'll do a good job portraying Hellboy!
here is the synopsis: based on the comic, In the final days of World War II, the Nazis attempt to use black magic to aid their dying cause. The Allies raid the camp where the ceremony is taking place, but not before a demon - Hellboy - has already been conjured. Joining the Allied forces, Hellboy eventually grows to adulthood, serving the cause of good rather than evil. it looks like one of the main themes of the movie might be the idea of nature vs nurture. should be interesting. discuss! __________________

Saw the film yesterday. Coming in I thought I wasn't going to like it but it proved me wrong because I enjoyed it
Ron Perlman did a great job as Hellboy, really funny scenes with him also. __________________

I liked it, good incentive to check out the comics. Speaking of which, more discussion on Hellboy is happening on the Comics-to-Film thread.

i was looking forward to this movie. not cus i am a comic geek or anything, as a matter of fact i never heard of Hellboy before. but when i saw the trailer i got tingels. so when i went to see the movie i had high hopes...and for once it didnt disapoint.
The plot was awsom, it was funny and action pact, the characters were great and i am totatly in love with Hellboy right now this movie is what Spider-man should have been!(spiderman was my one and only love as child and when i saw the movie it totally disapointed me) i give this movie 8.5 out of 10 *iva* |

I went to see it this weekend but it seemed like one big part was taken out. First Selma Blair is on fire then seconds later everyone's captured. Does anyone know what happened between there?

I just saw Hellboy II and I absolutely loved it.
I have to say that I went to see it for the villan. I absolutely love Luke Goss (but I love his brother Matt more)! I thought Luke kicked some major a** and totally brought alot of understanding to the role as to why the Prince did what he did. Loved the movie! __________________
