Without James Earl Jones' "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" scream of terror and Jeremy Irons' sheer arrogance in killing his brother, that scene would not have been as epic

Amazing performances.

I love Scar as a villain though before the stampede scene

Emotionally abusive towards Simba (manipulating him into feeling complete guilt over his father's death) and physically abusive to Mufasa's wife when he basically forces her to partner up with him when the famine starts

I liked the new Lion King but the stampede and Musfasa's death scenes were way better and more emotional in the animated version. Then again, the animated version is much better obviously lol.

I haven't seen the new one but I can't imagine anything measuring up to the intensity of that scene in the 1994 one Zimmer's score, the acting, the suspense

I just rewatched The Babadook (an Australian horror movie) and my favorite parts are actually to do with the animations in the book itself and of the Babadook creature when it comes to life Horrific images and creepy rhymes

I think Jonathan gives the best performance in that scene

I’ve been re-watching some good Disney animated movies on Netflix this week

Hercules, Bolt, and Chicken Little

Hercules and Chicken Little I hadn’t re-watched the full movies in years

He does also, I loved Matthew Broderick's performance as the young adult Simba

Matthew gives so much emotion to his performance as well with just his voice

you really feel Simba’s guilt that he’s been burying for years finally come up to the surface
