Did you see Meet Joe Black? Yeesssss, I did. And IMHO it was terrible. I'm not the only one. Plus that movie he did with Harrison Ford got bad reviews--so I think he's gone.

I liked Meet Joe Black. I thought it was funny. And I own Spy Game with Pitt and Ford. I don't consider it to be a bad movie. Everyone is going to have their own opinion though so it's going to be hard to all agree on one actor/movie.

As for Will Smith....most of his movies have been good. But not Wild Wild West. I liked I Robot a lot and I have heard that Hitch is really funny.

I'm not a fan of Denzel at all. I saw a movie with him about a month ago. Man on Fire I think. That bored me to sleep. And there was that one with Ethan Hawke....hated it.

I'm still going with Johnny Depp. The Ninth Gate was good.....strange....but good. And there was From Hell which was good as well.

What about Seth Green?? I'm a fan of him and so far I have liked all his movies. I even loved him as OZ in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I saw Without A Paddle last week and thought it was hilarious.

Seth got canned for Idle HAnds, which i liked,.... but it was pointed out that i liked it only because of the hotness that is Jessica Alba.

The Ninth Gate you mean? and It doesnt really matter what those 3 people think, that movie was good.

I would say Seth Green too cause he is my favorite actor but have you ever seen Ticks? That movie is beyond cheesy.

I hated Man on Fire.

Colin Farrell has "Alexander"'s flop and he also did "Intermission" which is like an Irish "Love Actually" that didn't get the best reviews. I've been dying to watch the movie but I haven't so I can't comment much on it.

BTW, Blade you should start this thread but for actresses. This is a really great topic.

Johnny Depp, Al Pacino, Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks - those four have never made a film I didn't like. I enjoy all of their movies.

Not to be an ass...

But this whole topic IS subjective.

I mean, we can eliminate every single working actor or actress in HW by ONE movie. Hell, half the movies these big-names did befoe they become stars would immediately disqualify them.

For example, "Fire on the Amazon" with Sandra Bullock. She even appears topless... But it is a cheesy, direct-to-video, B-Movie as well. I can think of a thousand others and is why I am questioning whether or not there is any real consensous that is going to be reached?

Probably not, just like any political debate, there is never a clear right or wrong. I know a couple folks who actually liked Wild, Wild West, but don't like anything else with Will Smith, very subjective, yet there are movies that most people will agree on.

Of course actors will more likely be in crap movies in the beginning of there careers, just to get some screen time, but there are those that are in crap movies later on that boggle the mind.

I'd have to go with Morgan Freeman although High Crimes wasn't really that great. I'm a bit surprised he even took that part.

I haven't seen the James Dean movies so I dunno.

So yeah, perhaps someone who just did one movie so far and it was a good one.

Lots of good actors did crap movies one time or another. This is a rather difficult topic. And we didn't even get to actresses yet.
