2020 Oscar Nominations

Joker leads the pack this year. It got 11 nominations including Best Picture, Best Director (Todd Phillips), Best Actor (Joaquin Phoenix), Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Score.

1917, The Irishman and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood land 10 nominations each.

Scarlett Johnasson who never been nominated for an Oscar is a double nominee for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.


Snubs include Best Actor snubs for Christian Bale in "Ford v. Ferrari", Robert De Niro "Irishman" and Taron Egerton for "Rocketman." Other snubs include Best Supporting Actress snub for Jennifer Lopez in "Hustlers" and a snub for "Frozen 2" for Best Animated Film. Along with their being no female directors especially Greta Gertwig who got snubbed Best Director for "Little Women".

Cynthia Ervo was the only actor/actress of color to land a nomination for Best Actress in "Harriet."
