Is SONIC the first movie to ever have been completely changed in post-production due to backlash towards its first trailer?

The entire CGI has been enhanced as a response to the initial heavy complaints.

IDK, I think it is but what a better and major difference! The first trailer was HORRIBLE., and Sonic looked like CRAP. This new one with the better design is so much better. I'm actually curious about the film now, so they did good to clean up their mess after that massive backlash lol. As a 90's Sonic fan, the trailer made me happy.

I saw this today, and really enjoyed it.

Official Secrets

YouTube was not loading for me, so I found an alternate link with a trailer.

I used to play Sonic video games on the old playstation collecting the rings drove me nuts because the spikes always restarted the game. But it's nice to see something from my childhood getting the treatment it deserves

EMMA trailer (P.S. my favorite adaptation will always be the one with Gwyneth Paltrow from 1996 because I loved Jeremy Northam as Mr Knightley ) -

I only liked Sonic on Sega Genesis lol. It seems like his game franchise was on the decline after that. I loved the Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Sonic and Knuckles era. I owned two of the games and never beat them, now I watch people beat them and do everything on Youtube, they make it look so easy. I'm glad they made Sonic Mania, that felt like the good old Sega days.

It's good to talk to someone else who actually remembers Sega.

Same I miss Mega Drive games. Toy Story was a great one. We used to have the whole family round to play it, ah nostalgia.
