I don't think he dropped out because of the fan pressure. I think he dropped out because he realized that the role/movie would make him a laughing stock. As a huge Charlie Hunnam fan, I'm really glad he quit.

I agree that this movie has a 99.99999 % chance of failing. This movie should have come out this year or last year when the books became incredible popular and maybe they would have made some money.

Charlie Hunnam definitely dodged a bullet IMO. Whoever signs on has to be really well known and thus bulletproof, or a total newcomer who, in case he gets big later on, can just laugh it off as a necessity role.

what if you were a baby and you were forcibly taken away from your mother.....locked away in a darkened holding cell for most of the day.... then spending what's left of the day with others like yourself....from other parts of the world that your unable to communicate with because they speak a different language....and finally being forced to do tricks if you want to be fed....wouldn't you be a little bit crazy too?

it's the story of killer whales kept in captivity at seaworld.....specifically "tilikum" whose responsible for the deaths of three individuals........

it's heartbreaking......and it further reinforces my resolve never to visit a zoo, circus or aquarium where animals are kept in cages, enclosures or tanks....

There is a lot negative and sadly racial backlash on the human torch casting ...Fans really need to get a life ...

I agree. The crazy fans are the worst. Personally I thought the first FF4 movies were very stupid so I can't wait to see what they do with this new movie. Also Michael B. Jordan is a good actor and this is 2013 so he can be adopted. I can't believe how some people can't understand that. The family dynamic is still going to be there.

Only thing I dislike is changing characters . So many comic fans know Johnny storm as wild womanizing party boy. But he also has a special gift !
As long as the film spares us a origin ..

To be the gruffy middle age war torn guy . Jackson has done a great job in the role .. Slight change .
Spider-Man 1-2-3 did there best with J Johnna Jameason ! Perhaps one of the best depiction of the comic / cartoon character ! Then Professor X Magneto!

Fans should know creative changes are Always changing . Some actors are that good worth changing comic Role

Thor 3D showings only will have a 5 min preview of Captain America Winter soldier! Plus after Thor there are 2 clips / post movie extras . Which is the norm for Marvel . Good chance one will be a tease for guardians of the Galaxy
