TFTNT!
New thread for tomorrow!  It's gonna be amazing!  Regarding the blind item, I'm just annoyed I bought into the hype. I was so sceptical, and thought it was far too soon. Then we got all this exciting DE spoilers, and I got carried away and the clues matched DE......  It is probably for the best though. I can't imagine where it would fit in to the finale, and it means we have something to look forward to..... I just wish I hadn't got it into my head that it would happen this season. Back to reality now!  This is what I get for being positive Lauren! I'm going back to my neurotic pessimistic ways..... |

Yeah, it better be epic when it does though!
I think the most worrying thing is that the blind item gave me a lot of comfort, in the direction DE were going this season. Like I was never worried about any of the SE stuff cos I thought DE were having sex in the finale, therefore they'd be put in good steed for season 4, regardless if Elena chose to be alone. I guess the future is just a little more uncertain now! I'm just glad we found out now, cos if we'd had more clues that fit DE and really got our hopes up I would be really gutted. So it's a blessing really! Anywho I still feel really positive about the direction DE are going, and really excited about what is coming up. The triangle is being blown wide open and Damon is a real contender for her heart. If all we have achieved this season in terms of growth, is Damon becoming a valid option for Elena in the future, then I'm happy with that. The only thing keeping Elena from reuniting with Stefan, is her feelings for Damon. Yeah it should be more about his despicable actions but since when are there any repercussions for Stefan?!  Ultimately before this season, they're wasn't even a question of who Elena loves. Damon has got under her skin, and with more time and as they continue to connect in more ways than one..... It's just going to eclipse anything that SE once offered..... |

We've come a long way since then, so I'm just going to be thankful of every little thing we do get because I remember what it was like to get nothing! Something SE shippers have never had to deal with, but hopefully will in the future!  Just to prepare myself though, I do believe SE will kiss at some point in the last four episodes. They haven't once this season, and the writers won't risk alienating that fan base. I know we've had to go seasons without anything, but we were built on a different foundation. We're gradually getting more and getting stronger, whilst SE are gradually getting less and disintegrating.... |

Good point you made about SE . I AM POSITIVE NOW that SE will kiss if DE got 2 of them now !! I think it might even be in the finale .. but not as a choice as much as some form of goodbye or something! But yeah I\m sure it's gonna happen now !! a kiss and some chesSE to compensate !!
