I wouldn't be surprised if it were a short season. Quite a few of the female actresses have quit - unfortunately not the one who plays the character I despise most...
 - and the ratings are really poor. I still can't believe they even got a fourth season. Anyway, I hope that TVD will end after S8. The stories are all told, there are too many new characters and too few of the original characters and I think it would only be fair to everyone involved to call it a day after the next season.  __________________

Some people believe, that the Originals will get to timeslot from TVD, so that both shows only get a short season. That would be okay for me. Let's wait and see.
