Well, for instance, when we were shooting U-Boat, Mark Wahlberg was shooting The Italian Job next to our stage. He isn't the most considerate individual in the world and he was throwing a baseball into our stage while our cameras were rolling. So sue us for not having a huge budget to make a **** movie. (Ooops, did I say that?) Okay, let's talk movie set etiquette for a sec here; one shouldn't disturb another production out of respect for his fellow actor. If Mark would have actually thought about it, he would have realized that an old co-star was on the set that he was disrupting; William H. macy. A man who needs no introduction to how great he is and how much he respects his craft. Anyway, back to the story...our director's assistant went outside to see who the idiot throwing a baseball at a metal building was. Well it was you know who and when she asked him to stop his response was more or less "**** off." Well, after this instance Bill (William H. Macy) decided that it was time for a little payback.
All of the U-Boat boys stood in front of the submarine set completely naked and dirty showing our backsides to let Mark know what and how we felt about him. The photo was printed and I believe that a wardrobe assistant on The Italian Job was paid to post it all over his trailer with the caption "We love you Mark, from the boys of U-Boat." It was a group effort on our part and it kept us very relaxed and laughing.
