I haven't seen it yet, but I know that it's out on DVD here so I might rent it someday very soon, not only because of Ian, also because of Til Schweiger.
This is what Ian said in the Friday 5 of May 16, 2003: 5. Of all the characters you've played, which one most resembles your own personality and which one is the most different? DANNY MILLER IS THE CHARACTER IN U BOAT. HE MOST RESEMBLES ME SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT WE ARE BOTH JUST SOUTHERN BOYS WHO WANT NOTHING MORE THAT TO BE WITH GIRL AND SAFE. __________________

What is U-Boat about? And is it called In Enemy Hands as well? How confusing... why does it have two names?

I think it was called U-Boat when they started shooting, but afterwards the directors (or someone else?) decided that it wasn't a good name and renamed it...I think.

It's called U-Boat in Europe and In enemy hands in the US, I think.
It's about the "U-boat war" during WW2 when the Germans tried to blow up all the US u-boats and the US u-boats tried to blow up all the german u-boats. But then two of the u-boats (one from each side) find themself in a situation where they have to help each other out. I's so good! |

Josie Plex, your explanation does sound much more plausible than mine, especially sine I saw it in a video store not too long ago and it was called U-Boat. __________________

I guess I'll have to see it for myself. But Ian being in the movie gives me complete faith.
Thanks Anja, you're such a sweetie. |

So, I'm obviously a giant dork who doesn't know anything, but what is a u-boat, exactly?
