I always wondered if stars demand their trailers, after they have slid image at some point. It is OK if you are the star of a show to be pampered more than the rest. I know this is how thing are in our studios. When a big Hollywood star comes to shoot here they get the Royal treatment. LOL

I do not believe in this crap. First Nina has passed the age where this can become a permanent problem for her. Not that this cannot happen anytime of your life. She has proven to be very stable in that direction and to be a real role model – like Natalie Portman and Jodie Foster. She grew right and I do not think she will ever go this direction. Not her! Second, she has been in the business for a while and she knows the game. Thank God in her case – the fair and clean game. I am glad she is playing it all right. This is why she is inspiration for people for all over the world from different ages.
And yes, I believe she can manage her sleep and her fun correctly. I am not worried about that. But of course I feel for her after the long working hours. She works really hard, like Ian and Paul do, and pretty much everyone to get that stupid smile on my face. So happy to have it!

I think you're taking this as some sort of insult to nina or something.

All i'm saying is that as of right now...she's running HARD. I don't know if it's just the timing of everything or if she is in the process of changing her lifestyle but she has gone to a lot of parties and has for the most missed out on a lot of sleep. That's not healthy no matter how you look at it.

Doesn't means she's the next Lindsay Lohan or Amanda Bynes.

Doesn't mean she's doing anything necessarily wrong.

All it means is that this particular year she's running hard and IMO she can't keep going like that or she will run herself literally into sickness. Ask Ian...he spent most of his hiatus under the weather because of his poor scheduling choices.

IMO they both need to prioritize and maybe NOT go to that con or that bday party and stay home and rest up

As fans we are allowed to worry about them...worrying about them shows we care about them not that we hate them.

Well no wonder they are working them to the bone since the CW just moved up the premier to October 3rd. If they want 6 episodes done before premier I can see why they are going to have to push for the next few weeks.

I think that for right now the TVD cast as a whole is running on empty due to the fact they are at the beginning of Season 5.... and having to make work related trips to LA after filming all night. I don't think Nina going to two birthday parties could be considered "hard playing"... She is not hanging out in nightclubs and doing the party scene...... That being said, Nina is pulling double duty on set due to the fact the character of Katherine will be a "main" character this season,
as well as Elena. That is why Nina wanted a "bed" on set and not a twin size uncomfortable sofa bed. ... she definitely deserves a little royal treatment in that respect and her castmates agree. . The whole cast knows Nina needs her sleep, as she has stated many times. Nina Dobrev is NOT vegan..... she eats steak and burgers with the best of them.... as a matter of fact, Nina has a healthy appetite, but she also burns a lot of energy....

I think there's a line between being sympathetic as fans, and acting like we know what's best for them or disapproving of their lifestyle. I agree there are basic things the human body needs, and sleep is definitely one of them. But we are observers from afar, and we are not with them every single minute of the day. They sometimes let us in on clues, but we only know as much as they want us to know. Nina is clearly enjoying herself right now, and trying to find balance between friendships and work. She seems to have a pretty good grip on it - and until it's obvious that she's struggling, I'll continue to just admire her ability to manage her schedule the way she does. It's impressive, and not for everyone, but we can't deny there are many perks she's enjoying too, but it doesn't come without a price (sleep may be one of them at times).

Well that bites! That is a week earlier than originally announced.
They will probably just be starting episode 6....
