Completely agree!

All though I am disappointed for Isn as it would have been huge for his career, a part of me is relieved. I had severe reservations about the film and book's credibility, which I think is really important. A box office hit means nothing if it is slated by critics! It was a huge risk!

I must say though I'm not ruling out the possibility completely....It's just a feeling...It doesn't feel definite to me...

That being said the only thing that truly irritates me is that haters will suggest he is devastated at not getting the part. The media has created this buzz and insinuation Ian is desperate to play this role which is highly untrue! I am sure it is merely scheduling issues that prevented Ian from getting the part, not Ian himself. I'm sure having met him James was desperate for him to be Christian. How could she not be?!

TFTNT, lovely title. I cannot wait for the event. But let’s not keep too high hopes. Apparently, these two are doing their best not to be obvious.

I have been asking for his calendar every year for the last 3 years and every year I get the TVD calendar that I'm lucky if I get 4 Ian pics for the whole year. I may just have to order the Ian calendar myself this year. LOL

My thoughts on FSOG is that aside from me only being able to see Ian as Christian, I wanted him to get the part to get out of the "tween" mold. TVD is not going to last forever and his acting is so incredible that people need to start seeing him as an "adult" and what better way to do that then showing the beast on the big screen?

I personally think that if they should have combined all three books into one movie since there isn't a whole lot of "action" in the books to spread it out into 3 movies, especially if they are going to be forced to keep it to an R rating. Still keeping my fingers crossed that it isn't going to be inhibited like that because you will lose too much if it is restricted to an R.

Agreed. 3 books should have been thrown in together, I personally couldn't finish the second and just went straight to the end of the 3d, because nothing happens, so it could easily be edited into one movie.

So Nina is at Vanity Fair charity event this weekend. Any news on Ian?

I am quite sure that Nina has no problem in taming Ian's rather large beast. Those pics made me think that he was just priming the beast for her loving attention.
