I know how you feel Ariana. That is why I think something like them working on DJ, which has its own "thing" going on, is better than them making Meredith or some new character be "his friend" as that character will feel like they are just trying to replicate DA.

I agree, I would rather have a DJ friendship then one with him and Meredith, even if it is just friendship. At least there is a bonding of some sort already with Jeremy.

I would LOVE more development of the DJ relationship. Gilbert family FTW!

And I really, really think there is a good opportunity to bring them closer next season, because there is simply no way that Jeremy is going to agree with Stefan letting Elena die. The whole reason Elena was even in that car in the first place was because Jeremy and Matt were trying to keep her safe.

I really don't understand why they killed Alaric off. I know MD has a new show, but I would have preferred that they had come up with a way to send him away from MF. I was just disappointed with what they did with Alaric in general. I didn't like that he was made into this vampire-hating killing machine, as though that's how he REALLY felt deep down.

I just thought it was a bit of a betrayal.

And now even if he comes back as a ghost, we will never get DA scenes ever again.

It's not going to be the same if DA "communicate" with Jeremy as the middleman.

It's going to be interesting to see Jeremys reaction to Stefan. He better be upset with him! Then there is his relationship with Elena. Jeremy I thought was supposed to become a vampire hunter this season, that's going to be hard for him if his sister is one! This is the perfect time for more DJ bonding.

I'm just still so bitter and angry about this entire situation!

The whole storyline was completely unnecessary and avoidable! I refuse to accept it and only when I confront his absence, will it really hit me....

I'll never forgive Julie for this!
