Yeah, so many talk about how emotional that scene between our boys will be, and Julie said it was her fave Damon scene and her fave Dalaric scene ever! We know Julie loves Dalaric so I think it's safe to trust her on this, and even Matt said it really stuck with him. I think it will make us cry and smile and cheer and sob and like we're bipolar!

Yeah there wasn't much but I figured with Damon on the other side of the country, we probably wouldn't get many scenes - it's okay, 3x20 will make up for it

And still we got the book moment, and we have Damon being concerned about Ric, you could tell he got upset and worried when Stefan said Alaric died and he immediately asked how long Ric was out - even from the other side of the country, Damon is still protective

I really felt part of the reason Stefan sent Elena and Damon away was because they are the two people closest to Alaric and the whole "torture/almost kill Alaric" thing wouldn't work with them around, they couldn't go through with it...

how Damon was obviously thinking of Alaric. The book was a nice sign of support and saying "everything is cool" in Damon's own way, he thought of Stefan bringing Alaric booze and he was so worried when Stefan told him Alaric was dead. They may not have shared scenes, but there was much for DA IMO.
