Whoaa, 9 years is such a long long time! Well.. not for a vampire but still. I'd
just like to thank each and everyone of you for making this place such a fun
place to mod and post on. And of course I'd like to thank Ian for being such
an awesome human being and for bringing us here together. Hopefully we
have many more celebrations to come here at FF. - Nightwish

I've only been apart of this board for 3 years, mod-ing for 1.5 of them and its
seriously the best place ever. Its my safe heaven, the place where I come to
when I'm down or bored and Ian and the posters always know how to cheer
me up. I just want to say thank you Ian: without you this board would
never exist, and thank you thank you for tweeting about us in support. You
are truly and an amazing being and im proud to call myself a fan. I also
want to thank all the amazing posters here. You guys are my online family

I remember when the Ian board was opened. I was still a newbie on FF and
barely knew my way around, but I instantly knew that this board would
become a home for me, for many many years. I remember the excitement
about Fearless, about Lost, and I remember the disappointment about those
same projects, too. I remember the near-heart attacks we all had when Ian
decided to stop by here and say hi. This board was home, to all of us, and I
may not have been a moderator or even a poster here for a long time, but it
still feels like home. When I see what Ian and what this board have
accomplished over the last few years, I am so incredibly proud of our boy,
and of all of us, too. Thanks to all the moderators, past and present, and all
the lovely posters here for all they do. You make this board the special place

Wow, 9 years! I don't think I have ever been on a forum that was celebrating
its 9 years before... Its longevity is one of the things that makes this board
so special, it has been around for quite sometime now, Ian's devoted fans
keeping it alive and updated even when he didn't have as many projects
going on and was not on TV regularly. This board has the privilege of
having a history, it is one of the "older" boards on FF, Ian used to post here
from time to time, and although some of those older posts are now lost due
to a crash FF had years ago, we still have a few around to cherish... We,
rightfully, boast of being one of the oldest, largest and most active Ian
boards on the net, and pride ourselves in the knowledge Ian still remembers
us and checks us out, at times giving us a shout-out from his twitter.
If this board managed to hit 9 years, if this board still manages to be
relevant and attract Ian's attention, it is thanks to all of you who post here.
You, who take the time everyday to come and check here, to post here, bring
us news, articles, vids, pictures etc. that you find. You, who actually read
the discussion threads and contribute to them. You, who share with us the
wonderful arts and avatars that you make. You, who volunteer to do OPs
and contribute to them. Your friendliness and your passion for Ian and this
board has made this an incredible board and thank you all for that! I love
you all! On the other hand, you are also the ones who make this board so
addictive and some threads so hard to keep track off as there is so much to
catch up and it is very time consuming so...

Right... Where was I? Celebrating 9 years... This board is the bestest and you
all suck for being such great posters... OK. That's all I guess. And of course,
obviously, the man himself, Ian... Who simply rocks our world! Who never
ceases to amaze with what a caring, thoughtful, intelligent, funny and
talented person he is and who deserves all the love and devotion his fans
give him as he is truly one of a kind... And who has the most awesome fans
"by virtue of" -as he would say- how awesome he, himself, is... And now...

Wow! Nine years? How amazing is that? I had no idea the board has been
around that long and going strong! It's an amazing place with some of the
best posters. It's our safe haven where we can admire the man himself! I'm
really happy to be apart of such a huge milestone! Congratulations! -

How do I love thee IS Board? Let me count the ways... I love this board from
the OT to the Appreciation Threads. It's just awesome. Talking about and
looking at Ian - Sex on legs - Somerhalder, what could be any better than
that? ..Oh I know...having a bunch of lovely people join you in on the insane
and sometimes gutter worthy conversations that take part! 9 years and
350.000 posts,WOW. That is some achievement. Whilst I have been a fan
for a long time I have only been an active member of the board for a short
period, however I feel right at home here. The IS fans here and everywhere
are just amazing and rightly so, this man is just a legend. His kindness, love
and support for others knows no end and well to top it off..he's sexy and HE
KNOWS It So here's to another 9 years!! - Addiction
