Thanks as always, MrsBeck. When you say you were surprised -- did you mean surprised that he exclaimed with glee that he wasn't a vegetarian? Or that he ever was one in the first place?

I was surprised that he wasn't a vegetarian. In three years I have never once heard him talk about eating meat - only fish and pasta dishes. Add that to his health-conscious lifestyle I had always just assumed that he was.

yeah, same here, he seems so health conscious, i thought he was a vegetarian as well, but hes not, thats ok as well, im not either.

disgusting!!!!!! even being lactose intolerant wouldn't make me try soya milk!!!! as for egg whites, they're only good for one thing - meringue!
