There are so many reasons why I love Damon and Elena.
I think that Damon is the only one who really gets who really she is,
he understands her like nobody else. She's the only one who could make him forget about Katherine,
cause we can clearly see that he is really falling for her and for me those two ARE the show,
the chemistry is truly here, and it's so great, it makes all of their scenes...epic.
And this is just the start of something amazing, she brings out his humanity,
and for me Damon and Elena are meant to be,
they belong together, one can't go without the other!

Although Damon had me at Hello, it took me some time to love Elena as much as I love Damon and appreciate the greatnesss that is DE, but then build-up is what DE is all about and what makes it so real and genuine. When we met Elena she was a 17 years old teenager who was burdened by the huge tragedy she endured at such a young age, whose world has been turned upside down and who found difficulty relating to anyone, especially those who knew of her old, real self. Damon made us see a glimpse of that old Elena, the real Elena, the fire she had in her, how she enjoyed life, embraced it in full and faced it without fear. And I loved her for it. He ignited that fire in her again and with him in her life, through her interactions with him, she has been slowly regaining herself. I also saw Damon change for better, as his many layers started to unfold and he morped into this extremely complicated “hero in villain’s clothing” as Julie Plec calls him. And that change owed a lot to Elena, who was the first woman to be able to touch Damon’s heart in all of his unlife. He cared for her, respected her and was protective of her. She and what she thought of him mattered to Damon, which in turn made him re-evaluate himself and who he wants to be. Elena made Damon feel after all this time, she made him discover his humanity again. And that made me love Damon even more. And the fact that DE complement eachother so perfectly, allowing one another to rediscover their true selves and become better, happier people is why I love DE so much.

I love Damon&Elena because they got it all: sexual tension, chemistery, angst, romance and fun. They are the king and queen of Darkness but they bring up light everytime they interact with one another. I think Elena feels more comfortable and happy whenever she's around Damon, it's not forced, and whenever Damon is around Elena his humanity comes out, he finds his true identity again. If "True Love" can be used for anyone than it should be used for them, they are perfect despite anything else when they are together.

Why can't I meet cats like that....

The only cats I know are arseholes who one minute are rubbing up against me purring, the next clawing my face off!

My cat wouldn't hug a stuffed animal. In fact, she used to play with a little stuffed dog and carry it in her mouth by its neck like it was a kill.

They're so unpredictable, it's terrifying!

You could literally do anything to my dog and she'd just lay there.....

I went round to my aunt's the other day and there was a cardboard box in the middle of the room. My aunt said to my mum, "lift up that box I have a surprise for you." We thought it was easter eggs or something, but it was a dead rat!

It was disgusting!

Her two cats bring birds, mice, rats, baby rabbits.....

It's horrifying. They just sit their all pleased with themselves and expect you to be grateful!

They're gorgeous to look at especially when they're being adorable, but give me a dog any day!

My body was born to reject cats, I have a natural allergy towards them....Mutual disrespect!

Awww. One of the cats we had was the sweetest in the whole world. You could do nearly anything to him and he'd suffer with quiet dignity.

My cat now is a bit of a troublemaker but is also very affectionate. Almost always greets me when I come home.
