I think he doesn't want Elena to kill anyone after what they've gone through to bring her back. What if she falls off the wagon again?
but he was also sad when they thought Michael might have killed Katherine. |

Still. I think he should be more pissed at her. Had it been anyone else to kill jer, and to leave elena's cellar unlocked he would have killed them in a heartbeat. But of course he wouldn't want elena to kill anyone bc she would regrett it sooner or later, and also bc katherine has 500 years of strenght and experience over her and she is too much of a danger!

Very true. I think they are very hesitant to kill off the Katherine character though. I wonder if their would be backlash if Damon actually did it.

I think...well, maybe I'm wrong but Damon doesn't think Katherine is worth the effort, you know. It's sort of whatever for him weather she lives or dies.
