Ian is an amazing actor... And brings so much to Damon, made him feel so human and relatable, which is what made Damon so popular IMO.

I don't think I would be able to get over Damon dying, if they do that for the series finale. I'll never forgive them.

If they were to do this I wouldn't even bother watching or ever re-watching ever. Usually if a show I once watched ends badly I can wash my hands preetty easily (*cough* HIMYM *cough*). I hope he gets a happy ending since he's basically spent the entire series miserable.

the way HIMYM ended makes me kind of fear about any show's ending now. If they could be so stupid and obstinate about it, disregarding the fans' wishes and the story they have been writing all along so much just so they can have the ending they planned initially, when they probably first pitched the show, who is to say others won't?

Kevin recently did an interview where he mentioned that he & JP had come up w/a finale way back in S2 but then he also mentioned how things change. So I hope they remember that when planning how TVD ends that everything is completely different now. I mean I have a lot of trust issues w/this show & the writing but part of me is still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt w/the finale.
