I've even seen some questioning if Alaric will stick around since they have him at odds with both Salvatores at this point

It's really bad what they've done to him. He's isolated himself b/c he moved away w/his kids so he no longer hunts vampires & he's now in love w/Caroline (which is REALLY gross).

I hate the destruction of Dalaric all just to push Bonnie into the role of Damon's best friend. It was so unnecessary.
