I'm sooo beyond upset about what they've done to Dalaric! Ric telling damon he was better off w/out him was such a low blow
 I hate the destruction of Dalaric all just to push Bonnie into the role of Damon's best friend. It was so unnecessary.__________________

WTH?!?!?! That is horrible... what is the matter with them? I am going to assume he is upset with Damon because him leaving hurt Alaric and this is his revenge because seriously, otherwise... ugh TVD writers.

In a way I can understand Ric. He wants a normal life. He wants nothing to do with the supernatural anymore. But there's something he shouldn't forget. As long as he has a fiancee who is a vampire, he will never be completely out.

I can understand not wanting anything to do with supernatural life, but blaming Damon for everything and making him feel terrible, that I don't get... If he had said "look, buddy, glad you are back and all but I can't have you in my life anymore, I am trying to have a normal life free from supernatural stuff and all the mess that comes with it" I think Damon would understand, even if he would be sad to see his buddy go.

I see what you're saying Karin but I agree w/Asena in that I think Ric should've perhaps handled it in a different way. He definitely shouldn't have basically told Damon his llife was better off w/out him in it. IMO I just don't see how he can't see how that would hurt Damon
