I was a Jater but there was a time I wanted Kate to die so that everyone could move on

That's true It's never a good situation to be in the center.

Yep, for example Kate would've been so much more interesting if she could just choose one of the guys and not wait until the very last episode.

I guess you're right. It was better when she didn't have to focus on the guys. The triangle did seem to settle down a little when they brought on Juliet so it was more of a square maybe?

LOST seems to have pissed off a lot of fans

They really did. Killing of Boone and Charlie was the worst decision on their part.

I also hated that they turned Boonie into a Shannon/Sayid cheerleader.

yeah, that was just weird. And giving him a "he is happy because Shannon/Sayid are happy" kind of ending was just not fair.
