The fights with Sawyer were another matter... but Sayid is not someone who'd beat up a guy who is only trying to look out for his sister and who is all around a decent person and really not much of a "fighter".

Exactly, Sayid had issues but he was not that crazy

Boone usually spent his time with Locke and Jack, but yeah, it would have been nice for him to have more interactions with the other people on the island.

For sure. My fave character was Desmond. Too bad Boone never met him on the island.
