Pretty good, how are you? I've been so utterly lazy today, I have exams to study for and I have lunch plans but all I've done all day is be a layabout. Procrastination thy name is Mandy.

Oh good, I didn't do too bad. What was your day like today?

Mine was great! My last day off, so I chilled. Back to work tomorrow though

Bad shift or good shift? Although I know no shift can really be "good". Whoever decided that we as people should work five days for two off should be found and made to pay. Why not work two, off five for the same pay.

Well we actually work for 6 days and one off, at least we get 3 months summer holiday if the stupid university ever lets go of us!

Well see, that's even worse. The three month holiday sounds nice though.

Well, if you look at my weeks, they're usually 3 or 4 on and the rest off, which technically doesn't sound bad. But they're long ass shifts, and not always in a row! But today was pretty good. And I managed to get myself a shorter shift tomorrow. yay!

Woo, congrats hun. You're a nurse right, do you mind if I ask what kind? I'm interested in the medical profession as it's something that is very important but I'm not a good fit for it as I'm easily squicked, I'm just fascinated by the job ya'll do.

Id love to be a nurse too, but I kind of decided Id like a medical career after I got into architecture school and if you drop out for another major here you cant give the exam for 2 years so guess Im stuck here.
Id like to hear what you do too, its a very important profession.

Architecture is fascinating...I'm hopeless at math so I don't know how you do it. What style is the style you most like in buildings?

Im actually pretty good at Math, not too good at the whole memorizing lessons though.
They mostly concentrate on historic architecture here, cause I live in a town full of it, thats the thing everyone here is complaigning about, all this focus on history, we dont learn any modern architecture, I like both really.
