| I didn't realise we had filled up the other thread! You know what I find really strange? The fact that here in Australia, the movie is called Suddenly 30. I like the original one much better! | |||

I barely noticed either, time flies when you're thinkin' on razzles.__________________ Mandy

| Yeah, that's true! It's a pity it didn't do better, because it is such a great movie. | |||

| I really liked "13 going on 30", it should have done much better. The dance sequence on Michael Jackson is a classic, and "Love is a battlefield" is a great pop song. | |||

The beginning of the movie with Jesse's Girl always reminds me of a friend of mine. She is a big Rick Springfield fan (and quite a bit older than me) and she bought concert tickets to see him. I went along because the tickets were free but he looks amazing for his age and still puts on a really good show. No wonder Jenna loved him. __________________ Mandy

| There are some great songs in the movie. I think they did a great job in the selection to set the vibe. | |||

| I think they did, actually! But from what I remember, a couple of the key songs might have been left off it. | |||

| That's what I was going to ask... no Thriller?! I loved how they used Why Can't I?. It's quite the catchy tune, and a nice song. The scene is one of my favourites. __________________ "what of love?" "when the sun has set | |||

It's a nice balance of songs but the fact that Thriller isn't included when it was like one of the most important scenes in the movie. Odd. Obviously they had access to the Jackson songbook because the song was in the film. Hmmm... __________________ Mandy
