Lovely pic, Kip!

Yes, we know she's a woman, sum1. Girl is just a euphemism, like when women call their conversations, "girl talk." And she did play a character who was called "the girl on fire" in The Hunger Games, which was written by a woman.

Thanks for the pic, Kip! That's from the Mother! premiere, I guess?

I'd fight for Jen's attention as well if I were there.

When you look at fashion that leads to women wearing stuff like that while men wear the stuff they're wearing in that pic, you really see the sexism in our society. Formal dress tends to bring it out by drawing on heightened gender stereotypes. It would be much better if people weren't encouraged to dress in a way that flogs harmful gender stereotypes. Look at the way we have it -men dressed in suits coloured dark to suggest power, complete with squared shoulders in the jackets, women dressed in flimsy gowns designed to make them look like vulnerable, impractical sexual ornaments. It's really quite disgusting. We need a change.

I thought men dressed in black because it goes with everything. No one really cares what men wear anyway. Just a tux is all you need. The red carpet is all about what the women are wearing because they're more into fashion than we are, I guess. I don't really know much about fashion so I can't comment on the colors or designs or anything. I guess Rita might have some idea.

Yes, that is true.

Almost any color works well with her.

I would? Sorry to disappoint but I'm not into fashion, just prefer simple and comfortable

But I don't think we should worry about objectification and stereotypes unless the particular woman in question is against it. Most enjoy feeling pretty and being admired for it.

I do think that men should wary their wardrobe a bit, it is really boring!

Jennifer doesn't seem to be wearing anything there

Yeah just because you're a woman doesn't mean you're into fashion.

Society manipulates people of both genders into unconsciously being part of society's whole sexist charade. It doesn't matter if somebody doesn't know they're being part of objectification, it's still a problem.

Wow! That's... quite a dress that Jen is almost wearing there, Kip. Thanks for posting!

Sorry, Rita. I didn't assume that you would know, I just thought that maybe you'd know better than I would. I don't have much insight into what women like to wear.
