I am really growing to love the young Mystique as played by Jennifer Lawrence. I hear rumors the brass want to make her into a big name like Wolverine.

I've finished my fifth draft of the script with Jen in mind as the lead. It's a comedy called Life As Liz. PM if interested in hearing more about it. Or even possibly reading it.

Really want this to happen have always liked Mystique even when Rebecca played her; she's just a really interesting character. Jennifer plays her fantastically

I'd love to see that. Jlaw proves she can pull off the lead role, and would be great to investigate Mystique's backstory

Yeah, she proved she can lead in a film in The Hunger Games Series. And with the upcoming film out later this year Joy. That'll even be more true. At her point in time she can pick whatever she wants to do. But it be great to see her backstory explored more.

Really hope Jennifer herself is interested in standalone's for Mystique really want to learn her backstory; so much could be explored

Same here. But i think Jen and FOX have a good relationship. She'll be doing her third X-men film. Plus JOY is also a FOX film. So I would love to see her continue playing that character. FOX would have to pony up the cash. But i don't think that should be a problem. She's well worth it.

Truth. Basically she has become the icon of the X Men franchise. She has fans worldwide, and fans dish out $$$$ to go see her. I believe she will take it on, as long as FOX continues to give her due.

A spin off would be very interesting to see. As stated below, there is so much backstory left to explore, and the character has an intriguing dynamic.
