Thanks for those, LightYears! I just saw the new trailer for IT Chapter II, and it looks great!

Unfortunately, I already read the book and saw the 1990 ABC TV version, so I know what happens.

It seems they plan on screwing him up this time. Why is it James McAvoy characters always get screwed up?

I disagree. Some characters should remain good. Way too many of James McAvoy's characters are arseholes. I'm sick of him playing them. He has considerable ability to be sympathetic onscreen. He should use it.

Well, I think that it's okay when characters are flawed, I just don't like it when writers make characters go to extremes from one end of the spectrum to the other when it contradicts their established characters.
