I believe that they are doing the same thing that they did originally just the 3 movies; the trilogy. Hope I'm wrong though; cause these two need to do as many as movies possible to give us Charles/Erik backstory

They're closing off the trilogy, but TPTB are interested in doing superhero title movies for the future, to keep the X-Men franchise running. They have Wolverine.

Then there's Gambit and Deadpool for 2016.


I read Michael would love to do it.

I get excited whenever there are Fassy/McAvoy gifsets for when they were promoting X-Men. They are always teasing each other.
