Right. The X-Men and Deadpool movies was done by Fox until Disney bought Fox and now Marvel will do them.

I hope everyone is ok.

Hi, sum1! Hi, Sarah!

Yeah, Sony only owns Spider-Man. Deadpool, X-Men, and Fantastic Four were all owned by Fox until Disney bought Fox.

Hi, dragonfire! Thanks for all that info. I'm okay, and I'm glad you are too.

Well, I still don't trust the MCU with Deadpool or anything X-Men. Feige has lost my trust.

Of course I love Airplane. I grew up with that movie.

Yes that was my confusion the fact Sony owns[ed] Spider-Man where made me question whether or not it was more than just it

Well, Sony got Spider-Man because he was Marvel's most popular title and they thought it was the only one audiences would care about. Fox got X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil, and Artisan Entertainment got the rest until Marvel Studios bought back the rights to them.

Hey, Airplane is from the 80s, and you know me and the 80s.

Thanks, dragonfire. You're welcome.

Did Sony lived under a rock when the X-Men reign supreme?

True.

No problem. Thanks again.

Same here Sarah. I do wonder sometimes what a full MCU Spidey movie would be like.

I hope everyone is ok.

I hated Holland, Sarah.

Sony fought to get the rights to Spider-Man back in the 1990s, dragonfire. The marketability of X-Men was still untested at that point, aside from the cartoon.

Animated cartoon succeed didn't it though I remember it along with the Spider-Man series from the 90s which was my first Marvel introduction even if don't remember that much where it wasn't until FOX's movies for X-Men truly for me and same with Evolution

Ok. That should have gave them more reason to want to get the X-Men. It's like wanting Star Wars but not wanting Empire Strikes Back.

It definitely did Sarah. Also X-Men had arcade games, games with Street Fighter, merchandise, etc. etc. I guess you could say it was like X-Men mania, and it's looking like X-Men mania is returning.

I hope everyone is ok.
