Yep. I say antitrust the bastards and break them up. I can't imagine Disney having Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Fox for the rest of the 21st century.

Just keep all the Marvel stuff together. I don't want a repeat of Marvel's feud with Fox over X-Men, which led tio House of M, restrictions on new mutant characters being created and Wolverine's death.

But I don't see why it's necessary to open up the entertainment industry just yet.

You know I agree sum1.

I've told you before that if 20th Century Fox were smart they'd have bought out everything in Marvel's catalogue back in the 1990s when Marvel was filing for bankruptcy, and especially not let Sony have a damn thing to do with Spider-Man. Keep Marvel Studios with Fox so that everything is under one banner. Same with Lucasfilm. That should never have left Fox.

I agree, but given my contempt for Hollywood at the present time, I wouldn't exactly mind if it became necessary a bit later on.

I need them too, but I need good movies and not the crap that Hollywood has been putting out. I feel like we're entering another mediocre period of filmmaking. I don't seen any filmmakers or actors coming out who can match those who came before.
