It does seem to be a pretty ruthless company. They seem to have changed a lot since they were known just for making good-natured children's cartoons.

This is why I always say I preferred Disney back when they just did animation and their Touchstone Pictures division handled live action movies.
 I didn't mind their buying Pixar, because it seemed like a natural partnership, but them getting Fox, Marvel, and Lucasfilm is just wrong. And now they're treating their workers like crap.__________________

I think it must be the new ownership.
Man, I remember when Disney at least had the guts to make their own movies, like The Black Hole and TRON. Then they came up with the name Touchstone Pictures so they could release adult-oriented films without the name 'Disney' out front. It wasn't a separate studio, it was just a pseudonym for Disney. They released Splash, Down and Out in Beverly Hills, Ruthless People, The Color of Money, Stakeout, Can't Buy Me Love, Three Men and A Baby, Good Morning Vietnam, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Cocktail, Beaches, Dead Poets Society, Pretty Woman, Dick Tracy, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Air Force One, etc. So it's not like they weren't already successful. They didn't need Twentieth Century Fox, Lucasfilm, or Marvel Studios, but they had to go and be jerks. __________________
