Yeah, the Justine Damond investigation isn't over yet, and they haven't taken the office to trial yet. The Philando Castile shooting was a travesty. The officer in question, Jeronimo Yanez, shot him 7 times and got acquitted, although he was fired from the police force. Mohamed Noor, the shooter in the Damond Case, is still on leave. And this is no longer a black/white thing anymore. Yanez is Hispanic and Noor is Somali, so this is clearly an issue regarding police culture and the fact that there are police out there who are not trained properly, or don't have the proper temperament to be police officers. Yanez felt that he was "terrified for his life," and Noor and his partner said they were afraid of being ambushed. When asked about the Justine Damond case, the lawyer who represented the Castlile family said, "If you're that scared to be a police officer, you shouldn't be a police officer."

The Philando Castile thing is an outrage. The guy was just reaching for his driving licence and he TOLD them that's what he was doing! And Yanez shoots him for that. And Yanez getting acquitted is beyond ridiculous. Obviously it's capital crime in the US to reach for your driving licence while black, but not a crime to shoot an innocent black man.

The Damond thing is a shocker too. Can you not approach the police in the US without getting shot?

There's definitely way too much deadly force being used.

You know, over here the police don't carry guns most of the time and we have less crime than the US. And certainly less cases of police shooting innocent people.

Yeah, I saw the dashcam footage of Jeronimo Yanez. He shot Castile 7 times for nothing.

And Noor shot Damond through the driver's side window across his partner's body, who was sitting in the driver's side. Since when do you do that?

I do hope we seen some reforms for police soon. But Noor had better not get off like Yanez did. And yeah, I heard London police don't carry guns either.

Not much we can do about the natural disasters. There's another hurricane heading towards Louisiana.

We can do our best to reduce carbon emissions, but Hurricanes hit the Caribbean every year. And Earthquakes... well, you won't see me living anywhere near a fault line, like in San Francisco.
