Last I heard they brought Heroes back and screwed it up.

My favorite character in Heroes was the guy with the horn rimmed glasses/Noah Bennett. He was sort of Cable.

A shipper yeah, but not the main ship. Sylar with Peter, Sylar with Claire, Sylar with Elle or Noah or Luke. Basically Sylar with everyone apart from Mohinder

Noah Bennet (they had it with one t for some reason ) was one of my other favourites, sum. He featured in a few of my fics.

no rants today....although I don't like movies with excessive profanity...and I thought Logan had too much profanity for an XMan movie

Logan isn't a kids' film. It's R-Rated. It's supposed to have profanity.

You should try The Commitments. Irish film from the '90s. There's more uses of the F word in it than there are minutes. Just sit back and listen to the glorious swearing.

I don't find swearing offensive, but I do find anti-swearing attitudes offensive. In some states in the US (Texas, for example) you can get arrested for swearing in public, so I think it's fair to say the US doesn't have freedom of speech.

In Britain you can get arrested for posting "offensive" (i.e. rude) internet posts, so they don't have freedom of speech either.

Over here in Ireland, where we like swearing, there's still a blasphemy law on the books, though nobody uses it.

I don't know if real freedom of speech exists anywhere. And yet we consider the human race to be evolved.

oh...there's freedom of speech...but what a person says can get a person fined, fired, beat up, ruin their reputation... and even killed in some situations.....and social media makes it 100x worse....
