Have you heard, Jim Caviezel is spouting the Qanon conspiracy theory that liberal elites are harvesting adrenochrome from kids? The guy's always been a bit nuts, but this is a whole new thing. So many fallen rightwing celebs support Trump. Kevin Sorbo comes to mind. He was so bad as Hercules, the show was an insult to the mythological character, and he was totally worthless as Robet E Howard's Kull. He always came off in roles like he was too lazy to bother acting. James Woods is on that Trumpite list too, but he at least had talent. And he specialized in playing psychos, so it's appropriate. He's got an IQ of 180, so he should know better than to vote Trump, though. He was great in John Carpenter's Vampires, pity he's switched to the dark side now.

Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all counts.

Second degree murder, third degree murder, and second degree manslaughter.

I was awake when the verdict came in and watching it live or shortly after it came in (not sure which).

I just loved seeing Chauvin's eyes when the verdict came in. They went all over the place, moving wildly nonstop. He looked terrified. It was great. Served the bastard right.

Yeah, the eye movement was telling. Dude should've known what was coming. What I can't believe is how utterly stupid he was. He would've been around 14 or 15 years old when the Rodney King trial and the L.A. riots happened, and that was caught on a VHS video camera, yet he did what he did to George Floyd with a dozen smartphone cameras on him and he didn't once think to stop? The Rodney King video only caused a riot in Los Angeles; this went viral across the country. What was he thinking?

It wasn't close to midnight. It was around 10 PM.
