The US is going to get a lot worse first. It's going to spread around the whole US. Huge numbers will die. And it'll be months before this clears up even in Europe. Even in Ireland the worst is yet to come.

This will pass eventually. I remember 9/11 and how people felt after that happened. Everyone talked about the "new normal." We eventually get past things.

I just don't like the idea of the media letting China off the hook just because it doesn't look right to criticize them. Really? A communist government with unsafe and unsanitary food service practices that routinely use exotic animals like bats not only for food, but are also contributors to the extinction of animals like tigers and rhinos because of their furs, teeth, and horns(which are nothing more than keratin) for use in medicines and other uses(as well as ivory from elephants); who are also major polluters who produce much of the world's carbon emissions that contribute to global warming and climate change, and who are also one of the world's top human rights violators? Yeah, we need to be more sensitive to their feelings.

That's true, but it's similar in that the world was never the same. Our country was never the same. But we eventually moved past it.

I know I will because God doesn't want me to die until I've lived as long as a human being can physically survive in order to torture me, as I watch myself and everything about this world that I love go extinct.
