After the pandemic, we certainly did not need this. All because of some moron in Minneapolis.

Seriously, what was he thinking? Minneapolis already had two incidents of civilian fatalities at the hands of police - Philando Castile in 2016, and Justine Damond, the Australian woman in 2017, both of whom were shot by police. Officer Jeronimo Yanez, who shot Castile, lost his job but was acquitted and didn't serve jail time. Mohamed Noor, who shot Damond, was convicted and sentenced to 12.5 years, but could get out on parole in a decade. I really hope Derek Chauvin gets a much harsher sentence, hopefully 20 years or more.

Indeed. With the pandemic still going on and now these riots, they're saying that there could be a spike in cases or a second wave.

My job was closed today because of the riots, so I ended up having to walk home after I got to work and no one was there.

I swear I do not know what police departments and law enforcement agencies can't solve this problem. Most cops are not like this, but the damn troublemakers shouldn't be allowed to wear the uniform if they've had numerous complaints against them and have a history of this type of stuff. All this chaos because of one idiot named Derek Chauvin. And the other cop, Tou Thau, is still free, although he's been fired but he and the other two officers haven't been arrested yet. All four of them need to be held accountable.

Chauvin had 17 complaints against him before this.
Though I'd say this is about a lot more than Chauvin and Floyd by now.
75 cities so far, from what I've heard. That's what they call the Trump effect.
