Okay, sum1. Yeah, the damn cold is really a pain. I wish I lived in Florida or California where I wouldn't have to deal with this crap.

Then you'd have to deal with wild fires or alligators. I'll take the cold over that.

I don't like the hurricane threat there either.

Well, I'd want to live in Jacksonville if I were gonna live in Florida. That's further north, near the Georgia state border. It's sunny and warm, but they don't have to deal with Hurricanes as much as Miami and Tampa do. And the alligators are further south in the Everglades.

Yeah, I know what you mean about California wildfires, and there's also earthquakes. But I loved San Diego when I was there for Comic Con, so that's where I'd want to live. They don't normally get many earthquakes like San Francisco and Los Angeles, although they are dealing with wildfires right now.

"Don't normally get many earthquakes"! Why would I want to tolerate even one?

Well, you wouldn't in San Diego. Even if they do get one, it's so minor you can hardly feel it. We just got a small earthquake here on the east coast in Maryland a month ago.

They barely felt it, sum1.

Sounds more like a tremor than a quake.

Oh yeah, and an English Sky News guy just told us Irish to "get over yourselves." There's a bit too much of this sort of thing coming from England recently.

This Brexit business is a major source of anti-Irish feeling. As if oppressing Ireland for 700 years wasn't enough.

Well, then it was a tremor. But that's what you get in San Diego. They don't often get quakes. That's more up north in San Fran and LA.

Un-fing believable. That's what English news media told the Irish? See, this is what I mean when I talk about how New York and California and those coastal states view middle America, sum1. It's with the same condescension as what you just told me about England and Ireland. I'm from Pennsylvania, so I know. That's pretty arrogant of them considering the English are the ones who need to get over themselves after centuries of self-importance.

England certainly has some post-imperial issues to deal with.

Yeah, like not being imperial England anymore, or the center of the universe. I remember that scene in the movie 'The Last of The Mohicans' where that one English officer said that he thought British policy was "make the world England." Charming. Why do you think they love James Bond so much?

Everybody seems to love James Bond so much. Except me. I see no value in James Bond movies. Soulless, dumb, sxeist, outdated crap.
