Apparently, the FOX panel was just a panel for Kingsman: The Golden Circle. There wasn't any news about the upcoming X-Men movies at San Diego Comic-Con. Very disappointing. Rumors are that they'll have something at New York Comic-Con. At least we have Legion and The Gifted to look forward to.

They may not had anything for the X-films but they did announced this.

I read a interesting theory, which was Fox may have announced a DD movie to gain Disney/Marvel's attention. Like after the first rumor about the kids, and now this maybe Fox is trying to gain their attention, and is wanting to make a deal with them like Sony did.

Yep. I think the rumor about the kids, started a couple days before Spider-Man Homecoming got released. And after it became like a box-office hit, the media was asking Feige about working with Fox, and of course he kept saying no about working with Fox. So it's interesting that after he kept saying no, Fox ends up announcing a DD movie at SDCC. I mean why? They don't have to worry about the rights reverting until I think 2022. So again why are they so quick on making this?

I wish but I doubt it. All I hear is that there is SO MUCH BAD BLOOD between Marvel and Fox. It sounds like they keep trying to screw over the other in petty ways. It apparently wasn't as bad between Marvel and Sony. I would love to be wrong though cause I'm sure Marvel would do FF justice cause I'm sick of Fox pissing on them

Well while there may be some bad blood between them. I believe the old saying is money talks. Let's face it if the Mouse offered the right amount Fox would gladly give the rights back.

I could imagine a Doom 2099 movie, but a Doctor Doom movie?

Well, were you a fan of the Fantastic 4 films to begin with? I've seen the ones with Jessica Alba, but not the more recent 1. The 2 I saw were OK, but generally not on my list of favorite films based on comic books. I don't mind this change much, though I'm also not a reader of Fantastic 4 comics.

Why do you think Loki needs a solo film I'm curious? Similar to Fantastic 4 I'm not a big Thor reader either.

I do like the first two Tim Story Fantastic 4's but last time I watched the first one I think it could of been better. They just seemed to be hanging out in a house playing with their powers most of the film but I think the sequel was a great film and the best FF movie to date. I do think both get way too much hate. Now the 2015 FF film, that crap was AWFUL. It was only made ot keep the rights and I expect more bs like that if Fox makes more FF movies to keep the rights.

The first two Fantastic Four films (from about a decade back) were aimed too much at kids and were overly lightweight and not well done, but they had their good points and Chris Evans was good in them. The recent Fantastic Four film (2015) was unbelievably bad and totally without any merit whatsoever. It was also a revisionist take, which is usually an annoying approach. I like the 1960s through 1980s Fantastic Four comics, most notably the Lee/Kirby and John Byrne runs and some of the stuff in between. Classic Marvel stuff.

Thor is one of my favorite Marvel characters and I think Chris Hemsworth's take on the character is great, but I've never been a Loki fan in the comics and the movie version is just ok by me. I don't need a Loki film.

I think the smilie Wickedrum used should make it obvious why she wants a Loki film.
