Well, they recast characters so much in the X-Men films that I don't see why they need to worry about that.

I think it's about continuity. I personally would just recast, but directors are weird about that.

Well, I don't like recasting usually, but it seems to be the done thing in the X-Men franchise.

I don't like recasting if it's not necessary, but actors aren't like comic book characters. Actors age, they move on, their contracts expire, so it's inevitable.

I cannot believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to this movie more than Deadpool 2. It was the complete opposite months ago. I trust Simon Kinberg more than David Leitch. Yeah, those words just came out of my mouth.
